hildren may stay at school at lunchtimes for either a full school dinner or they can bring a packed lunch to school. Children may go home for lunch by arrangement.


School meals

Information about school meals can be found on www.gov.im/categories/education-training-and-caree.... School meals are payable online via ParentPay or by cheque or cash and are required to be paid in advance. Cheques are payable to ‘Isle of Man Government’.

Information regarding the cost of school dinners can be obtained from the School Administrator.

Parents in receipt of Supplementary Benefit or Family Income Supplement are eligible for free dinners; application should be made online at

Please note, late applications will result in you having to pay for your child’s meals from the start of the academic year until approval of your application is received.

If your child is going to be late arriving in school please let us know so that we can inform the kitchen of dinner numbers and choices.

Packed Lunches

These can be brought, preferably in a purpose made container, clearly marked with the child’s full name, but should not include sweets, nuts or nut products, hot drinks, glass bottles or fizzy drinks.

Please note : School would appreciate one week’s written notice of any change in lunch arrangements.


Snacks

Parents should provide a healthy snack for their children to eat mid-morning. This should be a piece of fruit or a nut-free cereal style bar. Please do not send sweets, chocolate, crisps fizzy or energy drinks for snack.

Pupils in Rainbow Room and Reception have a snack provided for by school that parents pay for in advance.


Drinks

Children are encouraged to bring their own drink into school in a named container (milk or juice) and should be taken home at the end of the day for cleaning and replenishment.

Water is available to children throughout the day from water fountains.
